In its 40 mm “Le Grand Rose” gold case, the new Master Control Calendar gives its complications a leading role. It tells the time but also the complete calendar, not to mention its ingenious jumping date, finished with a refined Jaeger-LeCoultre red anchor. As the name suggests, this complication allows the date indicator to literally jump between the 15th and 16th day of the month, giving way to the phases of the moon. In an aperture at 6 o’clock, the nocturnal star reveals itself or hides against the backdrop of a starry midnight blue sky.
