The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Lake Tahoe forms part of the IWC Colors of TOP GUN collection and features a 46.5-millimeter case in white ceramic. Specified by IWC and Pantone® as “IWC Lake Tahoe”, this ceramic color is inspired by the winter landscape around freshwater Lake Tahoe, a mountainous area pilots from the nearby U.S. Navy TOPGUN flight school frequently fly over. A pitch-black dial and black hands with luminescence, a stainless steel crown and case back ring, and a white textured rubber strap complete the contrasting design. White ceramics are emblematic of IWC’s comprehensive expertise in advanced materials. The company experimented with this color as early as the 1980s, shortly after introducing its first wristwatch with a black zirconium oxide ceramic case. White ceramic is created in a complex manufacturing process in which zirconium oxide is mixed with other metallic oxides and sintered at high temperatures in an oven. Ceramic is highly scratch-resistant and remarkably light, making it the perfect material for a Pilot’s Watch. IWC’s legendary perpetual calendar was developed by Kurt Klaus in the 1980s and has since continuously been refined and improved. It is mechanically programmed to recognize the different month lengths and the leap years and will run without manual intervention until 2100. The patented double moon phase display shows the moon as seen from the northern and southern hemispheres and will only deviate by one day after 577.5 years. A single nightly switching impulse from the IWC-manufactured 52616 caliber movement drives the calendar module. The automatic Pellaton winding system uses rotations of the oscillating mass in both directions to build up a power reserve of 7 days in two barrels. The movement can be viewed through a sapphire glass back.

We charge 50 CHF for a fully insured shipment, regardless of the destination. We ship with FEDEX or DHL and you will be notified once your parcel is shipped with your tracking number, in order to check your shipment status.

TAXES

SHIPPING TIME
All watches in stock are shipped within 24/48h after receipt of payment. For orders placed on weekends or during holidays, they will be processed the next working day.
The delivery time is between 1-5 days, depending from the final destination.

Watches must be returned with all original packaging and accessories. Items that have been worn or altered in any way will not be eligible for return or exchange.

This policy ensures that returned items can be resold in their original condition.
Credit card processing fees will not be refunded if the payment was made by card and the payout has already been completed.
Duties and taxes paid upon importation of the watch cannot be refunded by us.

Exceeding the indicative delivery time (4–8 weeks) is not a valid reason for cancellation or return, as delivery times are approximate and depend on the availability and response times of our suppliers.
HOW TO RETURN YOUR ITEMS
Make a return request by email, including your order number.
After approval by our customer service, please return the watch in the condition you received it: never worn, and with the complete set (box, warranty card, booklet, stickers, etc.).
You may choose your preferred carrier. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method and keeping the tracking number. If needed, we can help you arrange shipping.
For preordered watches, returns are only possible if the error is ours. In such cases, we will cover return costs and organize the return with our carrier.
Once we receive and inspect the return, we'll send you a refund confirmation email.
